Lloyd Instruments materials testing software package NEXYGEN™MT / Ondio™ can be used to perform any type of test and calculate the relevant results.

A ”simple” test can be a single movement of the crosshead and then the force is measured at the end of the movement, e.g. the force to compress a spring by 10 mm.

A more “advanced” test can be to cycle the crosshead 3 times to a calculated position then move to another calculated position, wait for 30 seconds then measure the force, e.g. a foam test.

Many types of test can be easily created using the built-in commands, which are provided to move the machine, wait for a time period, measure values in real time and calculate values post-test.  A comprehensive help menu is provided together with instructive Acrobat manuals available on the NEXYGEN/Ondio CD so most users will find little difficulty in creating a test set-up.

However, there will be instances where a more complicated machine movement or a specialised result is required and this may require assistance from Lloyd Instruments.  Basic queries can be solved by phone or e-mail but if the requirement is more demanding, then Lloyd Instruments offers a Software Customisation Service.  A specification and quotation can be provided on request.

NEXYGEN software can also be controlled by a “Front-End”.  A typical example is a the Batch Tester program. This program simplifies the operation of the test sequence including automatic test reports, exporting of data etc. If a specialised Front-End is required, Lloyd Instruments can provide a specification and quotation.
